Honestly I don't collect that kind of thing but that is a nice looking medal. Congrats!!

And from Wiki-

Hans-Hubert "Berti" Vogts (German pronunciation: [ˈbɛɐ̯tiː ˈfoːkts]; born 30 December 1946 in Büttgen) is a German former footballer (U.S.= soccer). He played for Borussia Mönchengladbach and won the World Cup with West Germany in 1974. He later managed Germany (winning Euro 96 with them), Scotland and Nigeria. He is currently manager of the Azerbaijan national team.

He has had a mixed career from what I have read and here is his current status-(again, from Wiki)

In January 2007, Vogts was appointed manager of Nigeria and signed a four-year contract. After a thirteen-month spell, he resigned following a poor performance at the 2008 African Nations Cup.[8] In April 2008, he was appointed manager of Azerbaijan on a two-year contract.[9] He extended his contract with AFFA until the end of qualifying of Euro 2012 after successful results.[10][11]
