These don't appear very often, so to have two of them up at once is interesting. Neither is written by Brown, but both supposedly endorsed by him.

This first one appears legit to me, from the examples I've seen previously. I wish they would've left the check intact.

This one does not appear legit to me, as it looks slowly drawn (not to mention that this is a low price for a Three Finger auto).

I don't know how to transfer the photos from an ebay auction. If anyone here does, please do so (and please tell me how!).

Any thoughts? Anyone know "Doug Averitt, of MVP Autographs" as mentioned in the 2nd auction?

The second one could've just been a rough moment from his diabetes when he signed it..

Now that's not to say it's definitely authentic, but it is a distinct possibility as to why it was a little shaky...

The ad that mentions Doug Averitt calls him a founder of PSA.
I don't believe that is correct.
Doug Averitt used to be partners with Mike Gutierrez in MVP Autographs.

Hadn't thought of this. That one was signed four years earlier, but that doesn't mean anything, really. Something about it sure seems off though. It's not so much shaky as it appears slowly drawn, as if by an intermediary trying to imitate Brown's sig. I sign my wife's auto quite a bit, and I don't think any bank bats an eye when a che3ck is being deposited into our account.

Did I just admit to a felony?

Just right-click the photo in the ebay auction, save it to your computer, then re-upload it here. Once it's uploaded, you can trash it from your computer if you don't want it cluttering things up.
