Father recently went back home to visit his sick mother and decided to bring back some old odds and ends from his childhood. These were inscribed to Don with Donald being his full name. These were from 69 right before a spring training game.

Good thing you got the Don Young auto before the season......

Didn't Durocher blame the collapse on Young dropping a fly ball?

It was Ron Santo that blamed Don Young for a loss to the Mets because he made a couple of misplays in the ninth inning on July 8, 1969. Young used to be a very difficult autograph because he was reclusive after his baseball career, but he has done signings in the last few years.

I think after Woodstock that year the Cubs went downward...lol. I just think its cool to have these in possesion right before that "epic season". Shine in 69 baby..
