I'm wondering what collectors focus on with their collection of bats. Do you collect different style knobs, manufacturers, game used, personal favorites, era, or something else i am overlooking? Just curious as to what collectors look for when choosing a vintage bat.

I look for interesting knobs, labels, and particularly old long bats.

Although not a big time bat collector, I do collect oddball vintage bats

I look for hand made 19th century bats, especially with any unusual characteristic or wood type.

Nice M R Campbell! Always liked that centerbrand

I collect mostly gamers, and mostly Phillies. I have picked up nice store model bats here and there. Would like to find a Campbell actually, as well as a nice Draper Maynard. An old fungo would be nice too!

Thanks guys, Joe do you have any pics of your sets?
I've been trying to collect different style knobs(bats), but that can be pricey. Don't have a tear drop or ball knob, yet.
