Now the cat is out. :o Thanks Jim...I appreciate your kind wishes. Like I told my sister on the phone a few minutes ago; This #50 is just another day....but my next 50 (on 100 yrs old) I am really going to party. Ironically I started running about 3 months ago and do feel a bit better lately. Hope all is well for all of our board members!! (and thanks Big Ben too!!)

After an angioplasty on one of my arteries and a stent I am back in business. 60 pounds lighter and ready to take over the world.

Yeap, I have lost 15-20 pounds and my wife and I joke about my "apron" getting smaller all of the time. Running and eating less at night is all I do.....I hope to continue to get into better shape. It really does make you (me) feel better!!

Happy Birthday Leon. I'm glad you're getting in shape. I'm still only 31, but started to let myself go for a little while. Lately I've been getting back in shape too, and quit casual drinking last December(I still drink occasionally, but only when the occasion really calls for it). It's amazing how much better everything is, and how easy it is to keep focus on what's truly important when you're feeling healthy.. Now, if I could just quit with the smoking..

One last and very appreciative THANK YOU to all who wished me birthday wishes. I appreciate them very much. We didn't do anything special yesterday but after I took our dogs running I got home and my wife and daughter had a birthday cake for me. It had those damn candles that kept burning after you blew them out. It actually caught me for a second and I didn't realize they were trick candles. I almost lost my breath trying to blow the darn things out, then when they were out, they would light by themselves again. Ya had to be there. At any rate thanks again and thanks to the folks who wrote me personally too. I think our hobby is full of good people.....and it shows. Ya'll have a great day. Back to work now......
