Hi All,

Has anyone ever heard of a 1933 Goudey #58 O'Doul variation?

I have two (pictured below) that have a very different background when compared (bright yellow on left versus brown background on right) ... but I can't tell if it's from normal wear of the card (and it is worn!) or because there was a printing difference.

Can anyone offer any insights?

Cheers,
Patrick

Looks to me like it is just aged. Rob

Can't say I see a variation there. The skin tone is different too. I'd be interested in seeing a comparison of the backs.

Maybe it's just me, but that wear makes me think something is suspicious though.

Just aged. The one I always found interesting is the Lazzeri. On some cards you can't see his hair under the cap. In at least one example (sorry, I sold it years ago), you could see his hair under the cap. Odd, I know.
