Very nice looking item, but difficult to guage the value.

I would be pretty shocked to have any of the people on the board produce an entire season ticket book from 1909. These have to be extremely rare because I've never seen one in over 35 years.

The dealer is selling as a BIN or best offer. If you like it take a swing at landing it. Good luck!!

I would think that asking price is a bit high but that is a pretty cool piece. I would offer him 400 bucks and see what he says since he is entertaining offers.

The description is slightly wrong - that is a photo of the 1907 team, not the 1908 team.

I'd also like to clarify that this is not a ticket, per se, as it would not gain you entrance to a game. This is the second page from a Cubs season ticket book. The actual tickets used to get into individual games followed this page in the season ticket holder's book.

Look at these photos from my 1917 Cubs season ticket book for comparison purposes. I hope you find this helpful!

Here is the entire book from a Leland's auction. There was also a page similar to the auction or the same one that wasn't graded in an early Mastro auction.

Good sleuthing there Clint!

The page that is being sold is, in fact, the same page as in the Mastro auction description. Note that it is from season ticket holder # 11's book. And the best part is that it came from Charles Comiskey's personal season ticket book (should he ever decide he wanted to see how baseball was played by the Northsider Cubs) as is written on the 1st page of the book.

Very cool!

I would say its worth about $200 to $300. In addition to the Comiskey book about 15 more of these surfaced about 12 years ago that a guy was selling on ebay. They pop up from time to time.
