I am going to do a few contests to give away the upcoming T-shirts. IF you win, your name will be put on a list and as soon as they come in, (remember it will be 4-5 weeks probably) you will get one shipped to you as the prize for winning. Be the first second on your block to own one!!! (I had to say that)....Ya'll know the rules, closest to the final price of this ebay auction wins. IF there is a tie the first guess wins. You can use one guess and one edit per member. There will be no guesses after (Aug 20, 2011, 18:30:38 PDT), which is 4 hours 'til closing or you will be disqualified. Should be interesting to see where a raw but sharp card ends up.....Good luck to all who play

I guess $187.50...doesn't the card seem a bit narrow and perhaps bleached? (not the tee-shirt, but the Hornsby)

Not sure if the card you picked was the greatest idea. I've heard from other people that they use photography and description tactics to make the card seem as though it's in better condition than it is. (then you have to wonder how they've kept their 100% feedback rating) This may not be true, as it wasn't my own experience.

I'll guess $300.

agreed...card definitely doesn't look right...seller guaranteed unaltered/Authentic for all items...but to not get that card graded is lunacy...unless there's a good reason!

Nice, so you say not a great idea and then a sentence later say it wasn't your own experience. This contest is only guessing the final price, not really debating anything. But please continue if you would like to.

No, it's fine. I'm sure if someone else has something to say about them they can chime in if they feel it necessary.

I think the time had ended on this guess, about 20 minutes earlier. I will have to double check and make sure my computer has Central time. If this guess was at 18:57 EST then it was too late. Celoknob looks like he bid with about 3 minutes to spare. Good luck to all...regards

The timing didn't matter as your guess was more off than several others. There will be more contests soon.

On a related note I got the last shipment of prototypes in (they are out to be graded now) and Chris did a simply fantastic job on them. The blue in the logo is a shade darker and the front logo was moved over. I will be giving him the green light, now, to go ahead and produce the rest of the shirts. I will do a poll to see what sizes to mainly order. Thanks to Chris for his diligent work on our shirts. I think they came out great!!

The winner was DJR with a guess of $308.55 in post#42, with the winning bid on ebay of $305, which meant a difference of only $3.55. The timing of the last guess(es) didn't matter in the outcome.

Dave- please send me your shipping address and size to leonl@flash.net ......

There will be another contest for another shirt very soon.....Thanks to all who played.

I missed the deadline myself, but was pretty impressed by the first guess -- $300. With no prior estimates to either gauge a general range nor to game the system by pulling a price-is-right strategy, that's a pretty darn good call.
Hats off to ya,
