In that thread Frank W. came up with an offshoot idea of creating a list of players in the classic 1933 Goudey set that are also seen in Zeenut issues. After a little bit of researching fun, I have compiled the below list. I may not have been as thorough as Rhett, but I think I got them all...let us know of any omissions/mistakes. I listed them in Goudey's numerical order.

Great list Brian! This is very useful. I hadn't seen Rhett's list before either, which is great as well.

I know that Myrill Hoag has a Zeenut, as well as a '34 Goudey... Maybe if others know of more we could expand to include '34 players and cards.

Thanks Matt for the suggestion...ask and you will receive. I have added the 1934 Goudey players found in Zeenut issues to the original post.

I would like to thank the late Don McPherson and late Buck Barker for doing all the original mind-numbing research on players in the Zeenut issues that had major league careers. The articles originally appeared in a series of Old Judge Newsletters back in the 1980's. Without this list I could not/would not even attempt such an endeavor...they made it so easy for me.

Thought I would re-post various threads I started or was involved in the distant past, not only because members who have joined within the last few years probably have not seen them and might find something of interest, but also to provide some positive contrast to most of the current threads.

A positive contrast is always appreciated.
