So, I was going after the REA Ruth to upgrade my PSA 2. Unfortunately, I lost. Anyway, after looking over the cards I noticed the back difference (Drake's vs Yankee):

My PSA 2:

REA SGC 40:

I know Leon has one on his "personal collection" page:

So, I'm wondering if one is rarer than the other. Are the variations noted in the latest SCD? The color on the front of the Yankee is black. Whereas, the Drakes are more sepia.

There's not too many of these around but it would be interesting to see the numbers. Also, any of the other cards in the set....

I used to have one with a Sweet Caporal 150 No.649 OP back, but I don't have a scan. I sold it at the Strongsville show for $4,000 to Dr. Jack Griffin.

On a more serious note: good topic and nice catch on the back. The Ruth in REA caught my eye, too. Neat issue.

I have some experience with this set of actors (Ruth is the only sports guy, but was also doing some acting) and from my experience the Yankee Cakes back is a bit tougher to find.
