Picked this up today for $230. Fits well in my set. Just wanna make sure it passes the Net54 raw test.:D

nice buy IMO! and it looks real to me, but I'm no expert. None of the "obvious" things are wrong, like font style, font color, black line around photo, etc. do you have a pic of the back?

looks nice, congrats!

I love beaters with no image interference. Condition issues that don't distract from the image add to a cards mystique IMO. They also bring elite cards to the masses. Nice pickup.

Very nice card! If you ever decide to crack it open, I might have
a "piece" that would fit your collection nicely.... (picked it up at
a local card shop years ago. Just waiting for the right buyer) ;)

Not right - but funny.... I agree - I'd rather have a 'A' card like this than a 1 or 2 with multiple creases etc. I like the eye appeal. My only other Cobb is a 'Bat Off' with the borders trimmed off - but the picture (to me) is great... My only Ruth is a E126 (SGC A) - missing a chunk on the left side - but the picture is amazing.

Sorry, I should have prefaced my post.... It was nothing personal
and definitely not a jab at the card -- I have several cards with
creases, rips, and pieces missing, so it was not intended as criticism.
I can see now how it can be perceived as such.

Yes, just having some fun. :D The deep red background is actually
very nice for that card, and most collectors would be thrilled to have
any Cobb card in their collection.
