This is probably a common question here on the boards but I just wanted to know for my own piece of knowledge. Who, if there is, the best or common consensus of the most preferred autograph authenticator? Beckett, PSA/DNA, JSA, etc

Just would like to get some feedback from the boards!

I think it depends on the piece.

None

HA! HA! HA! Why don't you just post a pic of the piece/cut in question on this board. There are several reputable autograph dealers and collectors who frequent this board regularly.

They can help you out.

There is no cut in question. Its just for a reference when I decide to buy items, I wanted to know who I should be looking. Thats all

We have always used JSA in our auction items and nobody has ever complained. They have a great reputation and all their authenticators seem very knowledgeable.

Just remember no authenticator is batting 1.000 but some have better averages than others. I'm sure a lot of people on this site can post images of autographs that were "blown" by major authenticators. I know I can...LOL

I think it's best to find a person you trust that knows what they are doing. None of the company's seem to know what they are doing. Every week it's one thing or another with any of the major ones.

There are independent experts in all areas that I would trust before ever giving money to any of the company's.

PLUS, all your getting is a OPINION, it holds no value and if they are wrong, you out your money, so either way your screwed.

Use your head...
