Just found this in an antique shop. Need pricing help. It is a fully intact original 1949 calendar. It is in really good shape and has a small stain in the lower right side of the monthly tear off calendars. What would the value be on this? Thanks for the help. Please email me for a pic. I can't upload from my iPhone. Pup6913@hotmail.com

About 2 or 3 years ago there were a lot of these on eBay. They all were fakes.

Damn that's a big downer Dan. Someone spent alot of time using old pieces of a calendar to make this thing then. I am normally good about spotting this stuff bit I am scratching my head for sure on this one.

The pic below is of the calendar I found. Thank you for posting this for me

Tea, dryer, a computer, printer and a few staples

One way to check when you are at an antique store or flea market is to carry a loop or mag glass. Look at it and if the printing is in dots it was made by a computer or a modern printing device.

It is when they use older printing presses it becomes difficult. But it is also more expensive to produce and most forgets won't spend money to do something well

I've never seen anything Red Rock Cola/Babe Ruth that was real...Babe Ruth died in 1948..it'd be kind of silly/wrong for Red Rock to still be issuing calendars in 1949 with Ruth on them.

I agree but maybe thats why it is still unused. Maybe it wasn't issued because of that. A guy can wish right:rolleyes:

If these items were real we'd see them in the large auction house auctions on a regular basis...but we don't. I'm sure some dude in Ohio was pumping these things out for years..and many of the dates didn't make sense...Red Rock Cola debuted in 1938 yet we were seeing 1935 calendars..et cetera.
