Probably a newly discovered "find" in grandpa's cellar.

I saw these and reported them. He also had a fake Newsboy cabinet with a starting bid of $500. I hope ebay takes care of it.

I sent the seller a message that these (he has 4 listed) were fake and Ebay had been notified. His response:

First of all, I stated in my description that I didn't know very much about them. That's why I never put original or authentic. I had another ebayer tell me they were not the original ones, so I e-mailed Ebay and they responded by telling me that I have done nothing wrong because I never said they were authentic. If they are not of much value then the serious collector will know this. When I bought these at a Sports mem auction an appraiser there told me that some collectors will still pay a minimum price for these, but he said that the actual ones go for thousands.
Maybe next time, you should contact someone before jumping so gung ho and calling everyone you can think of.

"Get your wicked cool N173 Old Judge cabinet here. No idea if it's real or fake, but if you don't know anything about these cards, it's real. All sales are wicked final. Let's open the bidding at $650.00."

These actually came from a sports memorabilia auction and there was an appraiser there to assess them?

I think he meant "a praiser."

Praiser: "ooh, those are neat."
