Hello everyone, I am just beginning to investigate getting a few old judge cards and having the financial means to get a few for that matter. I was wondering how tough it is to get a low grade N172 Billy Hamilton graded or ungraded, and what the market is currently asking for his card? I know this may technically belong in the b/s/t section also but I thought I would ask before I put a post in that section. Any info is always appreciated. Thanks

Richard Masson had one at the National with a wonderful image in an SGC authentic holder that he was asking $1K for. I passed. Don't know if it survived the show. I assume somebody can put you in touch with him.

Hamilton is a relatively tough HOFer; we list him as the 8th toughest. Luckily, his cards tend to come with nice photographs.

I got this back before I knew how relatively tough they were. It's a PSA 4.

My guess would be that an average "1" would bring somewhere between $750 - $1,000.

TT-A nice VG card (good photo, corner wear, maybe some back disturbance) should sell for about $2000. Forget the numbers--get a nice photo

What Jay, you don't collect N172 by the number on the slab? You mean a shadow of a player in a 6 holder isn't the best card to get? :)
