All,
I got a nice email from the automated N54 system today wishing me a very Happy Birthday!!

Well, I thought that was pretty cool, even though it was a day early.
My birthday is actually tomorrow...Sept 21st...but it got me thinking that we might all want to know which baseball players share our birthdays...

http://www.baseball-reference.com/friv/

Most famous is probably Cecil Fielder, who is embarrasingly one year younger than I am (he'll only be 47)
Scott Spiezio had a few big years too. Current Phillie Antonio Bastardo turns 25 tomorrow, and one old guy you may have seen before also was born on Sept 21st...see scan (borrowed scan, but this is the only Mayo I own, I don't have a scan or the card handy)

So, who shares a birthday with a famous player? Do you specifically collect that player accordingly?

Have some fun...scans please!

Valentine's day is almost completely void of any decent players, but has a couple of great names.

Best hitter is Candy LaChance. Insert joke here.

Best pitcher is Pretzels Getzien.

I did not meet anyone else with my birthday until I was 35 years old! The odds against that are enormous.
Other than Joe Blanton, Jay Bell and Derek Bell there is only this guy:

Hi Brian! Great thread. Thanks for getting me everyone's birthdate.

Now..., if you would start a thread talking about the baseball tie-ins with their Social Security numbers, and get everyone to contribute, that would be great!
