A friend of mine found these interesting cards that come from a game
called "Party Stunts". The box indicates that the Whitman Publishing
Co. produced them in 1935. The 72-card charade-type game has 72
time-era cards has many cards with racial themes but also includes
both Ty Cobb and Babe Ruth cartoon cards! (Although the Cobb and Ruth
don't really resemble the players...) Just thought people would like
to see them...

Have a good one,
Steve

You're welcome...it's always interesting to see "crossover" products like these...baseball cards mixing with leisure games...

are there other crossover games such as this one during the period of WG2-WG7.
would love to know or be referred to a source?

Hi Barry -- as posed, that's a bit of a tough question to answer. There are plenty of what you might call "crossover" games that feature baseball in some aspect -- standard playing card decks, snap games, bingo variations, parcheesi, and so on -- and many "game medleys" that include a tabletop baseball game among a variety of other parlor games. But most of those are from the 1930s or later, and there's very, very little from that narrow 1904-24 window you've outlined -- especially if you're looking for something including cards depicting ballplayers (whether actual players or generic cartoons). One of the few that come to mind (not even sure this fits the bill) is Universal Surprise Box by Universal Toy & Novelty, which was discussed here:

You're very welcome, Barry, and thanks for the kind words. Feel welcome to pursue your question further in our forum -- plenty of collectors of vintage games there, often with knowledge we don't have. Steve's 72 Party Stunts, ferinstance, was a completely new one on us.
