We currently have a"modest" collection of rare pin backs (about 20)
all pre- WWI, and 40 different rare and relatively rare, graded
player post cards- the vast majority of which are from the first two decades
of the 20th century.

There are a few items in the Legendary Auction which we heretofore have not seen. We want to discuss these items with an expert. Our recent advertising on NET 54 has brought us five different offers on "rare" post cards. The information available on said cards was not sufficient.

Can someone recommend the most knowledgeable person(s) who can assist us in our research and purchasing effort?. We would certainly be open to hiring said person as a consultant as there a significant high value collection that has been offered to us.

Finally, does anyone know more about the pin and postcard collections in the current Legendary auction? Was this one collector? Did he limit his interests to pins and postcards?

Thank you in advance for any assistance

From what I understood Doug A to say at the National, the postcards came from one collection; I do not know if the person involved handled other stuff.
