I am a regular member of the baseball part of the forum, and recently picked up this Brown Univ. pc. Does anyone know anything about the card? Value? I appreciate any help you can provide, and feel free to contact me at: mpeich@comcast.net.

This is from a 1907 set referred to by Beckett as Gordon Ivy Postcards. The set includes:
Brown
Columbia
Cornell
Dartmouth
Harvard
Penn
Princeton
Yale

They are listed in Beckett I believe. It would be an SGC-20 if graded. It would probably fetch $50-$75.

Thank you for the help and good information. Clearly, the colorful presentation caught my eye, and given the postmark date of 1909, I suspected this might be from an interesting set. The down-side is that I had to promise my wife that I would not use this postcard as the first entry in my "new" vintage football card collection!
