I was going through some mini 75 Topps that I have and I found a Gitterwald that had a blank back, any value to it?

Some blank backs are proof cards and some are just error cards from the printing process. Some proof cards can have significant value. The 67 Maris blank back in a Yankee uniform brings a big premium. Likewise the 77 Jackson blank back as an Oriole has brought big bucks. And, there is a "set" of 84 "Encased" blank back proofs that bring a premium. And the 3 1960 blank back proofs of Hadley, Cimioli and Throneberry are the stuff of legends

Authentic blank back proofs ( especially those with authenticity proof sold by someone like Topps Vault) seem to have more value to collectors than mere blank back error cards resulting from a mistake in the printing process. Same for blank back fronts. Those error cards seem to be of interest only to collectors of specific players, usually stars. You can find blank back or front error cards regularly on ebay, usually with little interest

As a player collector, a blank back would interest me of the right players.

I doubt the Mitterwald blank back however would have a significant premium unless there is a Mitterwald collector.

I could be wrong though.....

You'll need to find BOTH Mitterwald collectors, and get them into a bidding war...

Haha! I did find one other blank back of a Mets player, but it is going to a new home on Monday.
