Since there won't be a Net54 dinner this year at the National, I was wondering where the NEt54 members will be hanging in the evening.

After I play with the cards that I just purchased at the show, I will probably head down to the bar in the hotel(Sheraton) that I am staying at.

After all the cards he sells; I can get Leon to pick up the check at the great seafood buffet I went to the last time I was in the area :p

And get Alan to join all of use for his discussion of the auction houses :D

For me and some others it will probably be a few live auctions, otherwise we will probably be hanging out at the Hotel bars that are connected to the convention center (or are very close to it) and will be sipping some cold ones. It's always a lot of fun to hang around and chat in the bars with folks we communicate with, but don't get to see very often.

I'm going to track Leon down wherever he is & give him a http://forum.mydyingbride.org/images/smilies/beerchug.gif

Howard,
Seriously, that's a very good question. I was just talking to a few guys at the Chantilly show about that. My guess is that since there's no Net54 dinner this year, there will be probably be a lot of small groups getting together at their hotels/bars. I was thinking about coordinating something myself, but haven't as of yet. I do plan on going to some local places for crabs and http://forum.mydyingbride.org/images/smilies/beerchug.gif

I am a non-drinker/smoker.....one of those pesky Mormons. I would love to meet some of you guys at an Orioles game....it's only across the street! Is this anyone's first time to Charm City?

I'm one of those pesky Baptist pastors. :) My buddy and I have tickets to the Thursday night game. T'will be my 3rd Orioles game in my lifetime; it's been 9 years since my last one.

I like Baptists just fine, perhaps we could meet? I love my Orioles too, even though they're terrible and will probably only draw 12-15K. Love that the National is in my back yard!

Maybe? Yeah the Orioles have zero chance; it's sad. But I'm just ready to go to a live game again!

Heritage Auctions and Legendary Auctions are putting on the two auctions. I would contact them to get details.

Just to be clear....just because anyone goes to a bar in a hotel doesn't mean you have to drink alcohol. I am sure I will, but there are always folks just drinking sodas or water. The main thing is to hang out and chat with friends....I am looking forward to it.

I'm a non-drinker also, although I'm pretty far from being Mormon or a Baptist pastor.

I'll probably just hang out with Dave Kohler from SCP Auctions most nights. You know, committing burglaries and whatnot.

As a pesky heavy drinking Episcopalian I anticipate being in Baltimore police custody the vast majority of the weekend.

After having crabs with Alan.

Wouldn't it be a great idea to get Net54 t-shirts made up? So, any member can have the option of wearing one. It would be a great way to track each other down.

You could even personalize it with your Net54 username.

Rob

funny that looks just like the room that a cheating pedophile would have to keep his victim in whilst he circulates around the show?

Do you prefer little girls or little boys?

I think this is a great idea actually. I would just ask that the shirts be made in very bright, fluorescent colors.

Wow! Good one Bruce! Someone makes a mild, harmless, jab at you and you respond by attacking his marital fidelity, sexual perversion, and sexual preference.

I bet Rob is really crying now!

One of the signs of intelligence that I have always looked for, is the ability that someone has to laugh at themselves. This trait is clearly lacking in you.

You must have spent all your school years with your tighty-whities wedged firmly up your butt crack.

All the best!

Due to my girlfriend suffering a knee injury (torn ACL & meniscus) and having surgery next Tuesday, we aren't going to go this year.

We had bought two tickets for Saturday night's game - Terrace Box 39, Row 3 Seats 7 & 8 as part of the Premium Package which includes:

# One Boog's BBQ platter for each ticket holder.
# Exclusive access to Oriole Park's Club Level.
# Exclusive access to the Camden Club in the historic B&O Warehouse overlooking the field.
# Preferred parking

Tickets are $75 a piece ($150 for both). Will take $65 each or best offer. I have the tickets in my possession. Will sell as single or package. I can mail them out same day.

PayPal gift, check, money order or trade in card value is fine.

Michael
