I bought a Lefty Grove photo a few months ago. The photo had white cropping marks from being used by a newspaper (I presume) and was missing a good portion of the lower, right corner of the picture. I had a few minutes yesterday to digitally repair the photo. It's not perfect, but represents a big improvement over the original picture.

Show off your digital photo improvements, if you have them.

Nice job for a few minutes. That would have taken me a couple hours.

I probably need better software or have to learn how to use what I do have better.

The after Grove is a great job I don't even know how you could do that so well.

I know of a company in Seattle that digitally restores old photos, so perhaps if you get proficient enough you could go into business. I believe they usually do them of old family photos, where the people want something nice for display in the home. They also mat, frame, enlarge and otherwise make the restored photo ready for display. Also, digitaly restoring historical photos has been done a long time at historical places like libraries, museums, Library of Congress, etc. So it really is a line of work someone could potentially go into, at least to make a few bucks at.

Not baseball, but fun just the same.
The wife and I took the granddaughter to the lake for the day. Her parents are highly paranoid and over-protective of her. So, for fun, I had my other son photoshop me out of the scan. Effect achieved.

Steve, that is simply brilliant.

However, as an admitted, sometimes overprotective parent, I say damn you.

Steve:

I don't think the photoshopper did a very good job... I can still see you sitting on top of the bridge laughing... And might I say that -- at your age -- you have amazing computer skills!
