Came across a great snapshot of Foxx with the Yawkey kids during Spring Training. Wondering what other seldom seen items from the RH Ruth might be out there. Will have my pics up a soon as I can scan it in tonight.

If anyone ever turns up a shred of evidence of the existence of the once-rumored but never-actually-seen Jimmie Foxx Baseball Game, allegedly by Diamond Toy Co., e-mail, phone, fax, or telegraph us immediately...

This is a magazine photo that I sent to Mr. Foxx as a kid back in the middle '60's.

The only two games Jimmie Foxx was the starting pitcher! 1-0 lifetime with a 1.52 ERA! Pitched in 10 games but only started these two.

Hey Jerry. Sweet signed Foxx image. Let me ask you if there is anything on the back of it that reveals what magazine and/or year/issue it was from?

This is the reason I ask...

I'm relatively certain that the publication was between 1964 and 1966. I believe the magazine was someone's special issue that highlighted the outstanding player (MVP) in both leagues each year back to 1922 or so. Sorry I can't be more specific. I cut that one up pretty good and finally threw the scraps away.

There was a three-issue magazine called "OLD TIMER'S PHOTO ALBUM" published in the early 1960s...might that be the one? It was advertised in the back of Dell Sports magazine.

Here's an ebay link (not my listing)...

having issues with my scanner....sorry.
Does anyone have any photos of Foxx during his time with the phillies. I know I saw one photo of him pitching but it was a while ago.

No, I'm sure that's not it. It was just a cheap pulp monthly. My guess would be Sports World or Dell Baseball Magazine.

Wow! That "Double X" signed index or GPC is the nicest that I've seen. Simply gorgeous- congrats!
