Now that she's just about gone (only the Gate 6 section of far right field is still standing as of today), why not share what you have relating to the real (and only, as far as I'm concerned) Yankee Stadium.

A few of my pieces:

Does post 1973 count as the "Real Yankee Stadium" or you want just pre 1973. Because my items from the stadium are modern pieces. First is a dugout circle used for the National League. Second is a section of ceiling padding from the home dugout. And last is my 9 foot section of outfield padding, which i have determined where it came from. Based on different photos and things that my wall have, i place it being from the outfield door by the bleachers. I also posted a link to a photo on flickr, that i think is a photo match(3rd padding from the left, counting the small one), best to look at in its original size, more detail.

Post '73 is still the real Stadium in my book, Brock.

Nice pieces!

I think you've got a photo match there!

Here are some neat items related to the 1st Yankees no-hitter ever thrown at Yankee Stadium. Yanks pitcher Monte Pearson no-hit the Cleveland Indians 13-0 in the 2nd game of a double header on 8/27/38.
1) Dated ticket stub to Monte Pearson's no-hitter
2) Original George Burke photo of Pearson from 1936
3) Signed 3 x 5 index card w/ photo of Pearson
Yankees fans enjoy!

Hi everyone - longtime lurker, occasional poster here. A few items from my Yankee Stadium collection:

1. Folding chair used for temporary on field seating for boxing matches and the like
2. bronze marker
3. Field level sign from renovated YS
4. 1932 team picture that hung in the old Stadium Club. This one ended up in Lefty Gomez's possession after the renovation
5. Fragment of the original copper frieze

Here's one of the terra cotta figurals from the stadium exterior wall. It sold for $15,535. If you look at the copies of the original Yankee Stadium blueprints always for sale on eBay you can see this design element. The thing weighs a ton--almost threw out my back lugging it around the Heritage office.
