8 1/2 x 9 "Casey at The Bat" scorecard / fan , copyright 1908 issued by The Wheel Cafe, Buffalo, NY
I've read Thayer's classic poem over and over thru the years - anybody with any other oddball "Casey" items out there???

thanks, Jimmy....I've had the fan since the early to mid 1980's, and "rediscovered" it again in an "UNSORTED / UNFILED" box while working on organizing the collection this week, along with a few other pieces of baseball sheet music and other cool stuff.....I do not recall the specifics of the purchase, but more than likely, it was purchased at an antique show way back when...
it appears to have never had a stick attached to it, and along the left edge it says "Fan No. 174 - Baseball Mitt - One Design - Poetry No. 230", so it's possible that it may be a salesman's sample???

Thanks for the thread. I have a fair bit of Casey material, and I'll try and scan some more. Here are three
first hardback edition of Casey

another Casey edition (this is actually not my scan; my copy is in a little worse shape)
