Im looking for any pictures of my grandfather ive been told my best bet on finding anything is during hisinor longest time with the san antonio missions minor league baseball team. I am not the best internet surfer so i have not had much luck, but he payed for them in 1936, 1937, and again in 1939. In between he pitched a game for the 1937 st. louis browns on oct. 2nd against the white sox did not do real well but played. He also spent time with the toledo mud hens in 1938 and the hollywood stars in 1938, im beginning to think he was a bit tossed around. His name was wild Bill Miller apparently a nick name given to himby the browns, but my mother said during his earlier minor league teams was known as hansom Bill Miller or full name is (William Francis Miller). I never met him kind of he died of lou gerhigs disease in 1982 right before i was 1 so i guess i am a bit determined to find anything memorabilia wise. If you have any leads or ideas i would greatly appreciate.

I recently visited Joel Tschantz in Toledo who was kind enough to give me a book on the history of Baseball in Toledo--It lists every player who played there and lists Bill Miller 1938 in the index of players...unfortunately, there seems to be no picture or mention of him in the book itself (just in the player index)...if you would like to see it or perhaps get a copy call me at 770 873 1181....by the way how does Miller coincide with a paisano name of giacomo??(lived in Italy for 10 yrs so I was curious!!) regards bill latzko
