Just wondering if SGC would grade this a 60 despite the fact that it has some tobacco staining.

The SGC grading scale mentions staining only up to SGC 40, where it says "discoloration, and staining are more noticeable." But there is no mention of staining in the SGC 50 and up range.

Thanks!

It has been my experience that SGC is pretty tough on staining. Everytime I tried to crossover a card with any kind of staining on the front it never makes the grade. I am sure others can chime in with more detailed experiences.

My guess is 40. Maybe 50 if you get lucky.

My experiences are similar and tell me no.
However BCCG might give it a "10." :D

sgc's tough on the stains but i must say that i prize the tobacco stains on
the polar bears as they provide a realistic 'portrait' of those cards surviving their 'habitat'.
