Was wondering if anyone has a feel for how scarce these are. I had never seen these before but Goodwin & Co had a Foxx, Simmons and Dykes in their auction and now I see that Huggins and Scott has a Foxx, Cochrane and Dykes in their auction. Was there a find of these?

I noticed this too when H&S first posted their preview and saw the cards. This was prior to Goodwin closing. I made the WILD assumption that it was from the same find (consignor) and the lots were split between two auction houses since there was more than one Foxx, which again was a TOTALLY WILD ASSUMPTION based on nothing more than some assumed human nature. I was interested in the Foxx in Goodwin until I realized I would get another bite at the apple.

3 separate Orient Theatre cards sold on ebay about 2 months ago. All from same seller. One was Dykes, dont remember the other 2.

Perhaps all of these come from same grouping.

Perhaps this is a big find and buyers are just kissing the lead buffalo in a stampede

I know that at least four Dykes Orient cards have sold so far.
