Help Please ID 2 photos...

Hi, need help ID'ing two photos. Team photo 1931 Red Sox-What would this be from-appears to be period. Second is Chicago player, unknown year. Any help would be appreciated on team/player info. Thanks. new Guy Kyle

I can tell you your photo looks to be a 1936 red sox R 311 glossy with I believe no sky.

All I can contribute is that the photo appears to have been taken at their spring training facilities in Sarasota, Florida. You can see the red roofed structures and the Sarasota Terrace Hotel in the background of your photo. As for the Chicago player, someone will come along and ID him and then I will slap my head. Just can't get my feeble brain to kick in.

The individual player is Freddie Lindstrom, with the 1935 Cubs. I think TCMA used this photo on their "Autograph" set in the 1970s.

The Cubs photo appears to be period gauging the paper stock/photo;-in examining the background the stands appear to be empty though-Would it have been taken by the organization?
