Acquired, sent to SGC. I have not seen another 1888 Uhlman St. Paul cabinet. Can anyone show me another one?

At a minimum, Uhlman photographed the 1889 Minneapolis, Sioux City, and St. Paul teams (perhaps more) with many of the images finding their way into the Old Judge set including yours.

Here is one recent example of a Uhlman cabinet being sold.

Your example certainly dates to 1889 as well, the year Milton West joined the Minneapolis Millers. The N172 equivalent has been catalogued as pose 490-5, Bending to field low ball.

All this and much more is covered in the "Photographic Baseball Cards of Goodwin & Company".

Nice cabinet.

I collect T206 only, but I find the late 1800-early 1900 cabinets would have to be my next favorite!!!Maybe years down the road I will make my attempt at them-you are very lucky, nice score!!!Would love to see more.............:D

I just went back and looked it up and it only sold for $542. I'm sure it is worth quite a bit more today.
