I started looking through my collection for some "weird" cards, and to my surprise, they were a little bit too easy to find. Perhaps I need to reconsider exactly what it is that I am collecting(?).

That glove, or even worst the image of a giant hand inside that glove has always scared the dickens out of me!

<img src="http://app4.sellersourcebook.com/users/113197/picture_446.jpg">
The prototypical weird card which will stand the test of time.

<img src="http://app4.sellersourcebook.com/users/113197/picture_443.jpg">
What happened to the ball?

<img src="http://app4.sellersourcebook.com/users/113197/picture_440.jpg">
I'm not sure if he is being attacked by bees or doing the cha cha.

<img src="http://app4.sellersourcebook.com/users/113197/picture_447.jpg">
Obviously not the work of a future Disney animator.

<img src="http://app4.sellersourcebook.com/users/113197/picture_445.jpg">
Is Veach asking or answering a question?

<img src="http://app4.sellersourcebook.com/users/113197/picture_439.jpg">
Just plain weird.

Does someone have an E107 Ed Poole? I have an image of one, but it isn't mine and I don't want to rain on someone else's parade.

triwak,

Might be Thompson looking into the future and imagining himself playing air guitar...

Who else but Ozark Ike was man enough to wear a pink t-shirt?

A entertaining discription of the wierdness of this card is given by Brenden C. Boyd and Fred C. Harris in The Great American Baseball Card Flipping, Trading and Bubble Gum Book. I would be happy to email a scan the description if anyone wants it. Just send me a PM.

Actually, the balls and the "high sign" are supposed to represent six home runs in three straight games.

so far, the 48 Leaf Dillinger gets my vote for wierdest card. Kinda freaks me out. The T206 Abbott has the best description. Well done, Bob.

There's lots more out there. Can he be topped?
