My Sister got me the 20 DVD MLB World Series Film Collection... Incredible.

My youngest Daughter got me "Baseball's Greatest Legends" DVD "Featuring interviews with Legends of the past and present"... Very Cool.

And my Niece made me a wonderful Baseball Themed Throw Blanket which is one of the best gifts I have ever received.

Both of my daughters also made me more wonderful gifts that were very clever and just terrific. You just can't beat homemade Christmas gifts from your family.

BTW... my oldest daughter is 25 and my younger one and my niece are both a few months shy of 18, and their still making gifts... how great is THAT?!

Awesome Jimmy. Sounds like really good gifts, and as you said, family is what makes them even better.

I received gift cards and a snow blower. After hearing of Jimmy's dvds, I know what my gift cards will be used for.
Thank baby Jesus for the snow blower as we have so far received 20 inches of snow here in ND. The good news is, I am snowed in with family and unlimited fudge, turkey, ham and sugar cookies; even "the Babe" would enjoy these conditions!
I want to apologize in advance as I have some spare time now which means...posts!
I hope you all enjoy the rest of the holidays and are as blessed as I am in the presence of family.
Ben

From my wonderful wife...1971 Pirates reunion bat signed at the 1991 J.Paul show in Pittsburgh. 23 sigs including Stargell and Ellis!

Mike,

It seems that usually when I see blue sharpie signatures on a bat, one or two are smudged. Those all look really nice!

Thanks Greg! I know what you mean, and that's why I hate collecting sigs on bats because I'm always afraid the next guy will smudge a sig while signing' I'm not sure why that is since sharpie tends to dry very quickly. I know some bats don't seem to smudge while others seems to be able to smudge for years and years. I have a nice 1960 reunion bat as well but I still need 2 sigs on it but I'm afraid it will get smudged if I take it to next year's show. I might just have to cover the main part of the bat and have them sign the handle, but not sure yet.
