Here's a panorama attempt at the left and forward facing walls of my home office:

http://www.t206.org/misc/t206officepanorama.jpg

- Complete set posters
- Limited edition Wagner litho
- Some custom framed canvas cuts
- T206.org's very own complete framed back advertisers set
- Pennzoni Display Case with a few graded portraits inside)

I picked up those posters (complete T206 set), on the left, on eBay a few years ago I believe, and I've never seen another pair for sale. Have you?

great pics.
Regarding your final question, i have a pair like yours which is framed, in my office. I have had them several years and love how they're ready for quick reference.

Thank you, Barry, and cool to know you have the same pair!

milkit1, I dig the T202 setup, cool stuff. Thanks for sharing. About the office, nope, no kids (yet). :)

Thank you, Clayton - yep definitely some neat stuff out there. Lee B. and Jim C. have some that really stand out in my mind.

A couple more photos from older display setups...

Trae, be careful! It won't take long for the sun to fade the backs of those cards on your window sill.

Trae:

I own the same posters and bought them through and SCD ad many years ago. I need to reframe mine though.

I spent several weekends this year pulling together everything scattered throughout my apartment that was baseball-related into one room - my man cave, of course! It's come together quite nicely and includes, as you can see, tobacco cards, sporting news supplement, original photography, and my collection of baseball books. It is easy for me to just sit in this room and stare for a long time without doing a thing!

Some great displays guys -- Dan, I even love the color of your walls.
I usually only post on the memorabilia side -- here are a couple of T206 cards in a vintage cigarette vending machine.

I went to lunch today and then wandered into a Michaels store next door to look for a picture frame for my house. This "float frame" caught my eye and I instantly thought of putting baseball cards in it. I brought it back to work and used some T206 reprints that I had in my drawer (the Indianapolis team set).

This frame comes in black or wood (I thought the black would look nice with the cards).

Anyway, it's just a quick and easy way to put up some cards you want to display. I decided to put it on top of my cabinet (first shot) after initially hanging it on my office wall (second shot). The shot with the white background is the frame on my desk, just to get a closer look at it without the glare of the lights.

Thanks.

I bought my house last year and I'm just NOW trying to get my man-cave up and running. It's more like a mess right now, but I got one corner started - if anything I need more furniture like cabinets as I have a ton more stuff that I'm afraid won't fit in my cave as I'm fairly certain I'm running out of wall space haha:
<a href="http://s92.photobucket.com/albums/l32/marvjung/?action=view&amp;current=IMAG0604.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l32/marvjung/IMAG0604.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

The black bat is auto'd by Ken Griffey Jr, the blonde is auto'd by Duke Snider and the Princeton Pennant that you see on the right, I recently picked up at a flea market for $3 - it's amazing how the original owner made it - has original newspaper clips from back in the day as the background.

The two USA Jersey's are auto'd by Jenny Finch :D ( I need to get those re-matted)

Here is my T206 NY American/Highlander collection. 2 cards short of completion (except for the Doyle (national) which I may never get). Currently the 3rd ranked set on PSA. Can't wait to finish it, if anyone has a Doyle American or Kleinow Catching I am actively looking. Please say hi to my reflection as you look.

and I am not trying to hijack this cool thread, but is there any concern about the cards fading due to light?

Have always wondered about this as I had the bad experience of fading happen to me with a Johnny Unitas signed football I had in my room as a kid. I did not know any better and it broke my heart.

Have been wanting to display my cards but have been hesitant. Is it cool as long as the cards are out of direct sunlight? Does SGC/PSA have any UV protectant in the holders?
Thanks
Isaac

I wholeheartedly agree; the recessed displays are such a beautiful way of making use of existing vertical space---perfect. I have commented before on your mini-Jackie Robinson display, Dan. I never tire of looking at it---such a nice harmony of period cards and a swell figurine.

PM me if you have any interest in a pair of fantasy Jackie Robinson cards that could shoehorn into your Robbie display. They're not that pricey, and hail from a distinguished 1954 issue. I assure you their looks are more than "a passing glance".

Again, all your displays are nicely done, and thank you for sharing with us.

Kind regards, Brian Powell

Hope this works?

I bought this curio case at an antique store a year or so back. I try to rotate cards through just to keep thing fresh. Aside from an autographed photo of Moose Skowron in the powder room it's the only sports related thing in the house outside of my library. The wife is happier that way.

You can argue that this isn't a display, but I have an old four drawer antique card cabinet...I think it actually came out of a seed store. The thing I like is that it holds my entire 520 card set in alphabetical order (it's mostly raw except for a couple of Carolina Brights that are slabbed). Easy to get out and enjoy any time.
