With winter here and my golf clubs put up for a few months I was wondering
if anybody could suggest a good prewar baseball related book?

I enjoyed "Ty and The Babe" by Tom Stanton. You can probably pick up a copy under $12 on ebay.

This one is mentioned is Rob D.'s link....Crazy '08 by Cait Murphy. If you like the T206 set, then this is a great book to read...it follows the course of the whole season and the pennant races. The book contains stories about a ton of different players in the T206 set (and not just the Hall of Famers!)

Wrote books just using newspaper clips like the Glorious Season; those books are also cool and bring the T206's and Goudey's to life
