November Vintage Texas Hold'em

Reminder: The Old Cardboard November and December Texas Hold'em tournaments are held one week earlier than usual (3rd rather than the 4th Tuesday of the month) to avoid conflicts with the holidays. We wish a Merry Texas Holiday Season to all.

The eleventh (November) tournament of the Old Cardboard 2009 Texas Hold'em series is tonight at 20:30 EST (7:30 pm Central). All vintage card collectors (Net54 members) are welcome to participate. After the smoke settled following a lively tournament last evening, yours truly (OldCardboard) finished in first place. The detailed results are now posted on the Old Cardboard website at http://www.oldcardboard.com/misc/poker/2009/2009-leaderboard.asp.

Despite my lucky come-from-behind finish in the tournament, Steve Murray maintains a commanding lead for the 2009 Series with only one tournament (December) left to play. Steve tells me that he has already cleared a spot in his house to display the trophy next year!

The final tourney (Old Cardboard #12 on the PokerStars Private Tournament list) will be held on Tuesday, December 15th, one week earlier than usual to avoid holiday conflicts. We hope that all can attend. It is PokerStars #207456836; password to register is t3t4t5.
