Hi. I'm a newbie, just signed up. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can see scans of 1910-11 Sporting Life minor leaguers esp: Coveleskie, Foster, Frill, Hughes, & F. Mitchell. Any help would be greatly appreciated & thanks.

Welcome to the board! Tim N. just picked up a Coveleskie and posted a scan on the board. It was just a week or two ago so you can find it by doing a search.

welcome aboard.
i actually got my first M116 from the fellow who greeted you before me---
Barry Sloate. It was the Hughie Jennings with the 300 on the back,
from Barry's own auction. Since then, i've bought a few more and can understand why you are into them. Sorry but i don't have the ones you've mentioned.

again, Welcome

best,
barry

Thanks everyone! The Hughes is the only one I still need to see. Really glad I found this site. Seems like a great bunch of guys here.
Thanks again.

Welcome to the board. We have our moments of clarity where people ask or answer questions civilly, and we also have our moments on the lunatic fringes (both sides of any argument.)

Sometimes it seems more like a Thanksgiving dinner with crazy Uncle Al than a message board.

Welcome to the board

I found this one for you.

By the way, your user name wouldn't happen to be influenced by a band's name would it?

By asking that question I think you already know the answer! Operation Mindcrime is the greatest metal album of all time (you guys have no idea what I'm talking about, do you?)
Thanks to all!
