Hi everyone. I was advised to bring my questions about some items a friend of mine has to this board. He has an old Warren Spahn glove. Model # is DG935. Other words printed on the glove are: D&M, 4 finger. and Natural Ball Pocket. Any idea of the year and approximate value? I would say it is in very good condition but I am certainly not a glove expert. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Kary,

the glove is from the 1940s one of the D&M/Goldsmith models - they stopped making them and other items by the 1950s and early 60s

Goldsmith bought D&M in 1937 but did keep the brand, but the gloves changed - D&M gloves before 1937 are very collectable and are better quality then your example

jbsports33,
Thanks for the reply. Does that mean this glove has very little value if any?

Maybe worth 20.00-40.00 looking at the condition, maybe a bit higher because of the name and brand, but not a real valuable glove
