With the All-Star game approaching, thought I would start the periodic discussion of the best-of-the-best. A couple of rules: 1) A strict limit of 25 players. 2) All fielding positions must be represented at least once. I have also limited my team to HOF'ers, but that's just me. Let the arguments ensue! :)

I dont have much to add, but to me the easiest argument in sports is who is the best pitcher ever. Walter Johnson is so far ahead of everyone else on a list like this that any argument you use to justify someone else could be used to further Johnsons credentials because if he had been on a good team he would have won 500+ games with only around 125 losses. The guy was simply on a level that nobody else has come close to regardless of time period.
