Will be hosting another of his semi-regular "fill-in" shows on WABC 770 AM this Sunday Night from 7-9 pm EST on WABC radio in New York City, 770 AM. You can also tune in on the internet at www.wabcradio.com.

This information was stolen from his facebook page; I hope he does go All-Lawyer on me and sue me for plagarism :)

Regards
Rich

Thanks, Rich. Some of the show's topics will include "Favorite Ty Cobb Card," "Did the Last Few Tip Top Wagners Really Sell?" and "What WON'T Beckett Grade?"

Feel free to call in and become a part of the show -- one of the few chances to discuss vintage baseball cards on a national radio show.

Suggest someone post a picture of the real "our own Jeff Lichtman" who is younger and much less follically-challenged than Jeffrey A. Lichtman.

Did someone confuse Lichtman with a lawyer?

I heard the first hour, and it was excellent. Was there any vintage card talk in the second hour?

Guys, thanks for listening. No prewar card talk tonight. We had a segment lined up with the grandson of an artist who did the T206 cards but couldn't fit him in.

Yes, Barry, probably better you missed it. A number of tears-inducing topics for sure.

We were away (out of the 770 AM reach); therefore, I missed you last night. But look,
you have to get this "T206 guy" on your next radio broadcast. This is top priority stuff.
I will make an extra effort to call in to ask him a bunch of questions. In the past I have
tried to get thru to you, but couldn't.
So, forget the politics.....most of the "dudes" on this forum disagree with your's.....and
will turn you off.

I, for one, really enjoy your radio shows.

Jeff- if you can squeeze in a few Beatles tunes I might listen next time.

cfc1909
06-08-2009, 08:34 AM
when is the next show?

barry -it would take the beatles for you to listen-when i tuned in they were playing zeppelins-when the levee breaks-i thought that was very kool

calvindog
06-08-2009, 08:47 AM
Yeah, not really into the Beatles for the show. Mostly hardcore stuff; I find it really sets the mood when discussing T206 cards.

Jim, not sure when I'm on next but I suspect it will be sometime in June.

Jeff- I'm guessing you have an audience of about a million listeners. If you switched the topic to T206 you might be left with maybe twelve people.

calvindog
06-08-2009, 08:59 AM
Perhaps 16. Some of the angry guys on the forum won't admit to listening but probably can't control themselves.

This southerner listened via the laptop (cell connection) through the car speakers. My wife kept asking "Who is this again?" :)

I didn't listen because I like you Jeff...and I want to keep liking you.

Actually I forgot. :D

Dan- that is my sentiment too. Jeff is a friend, and in areas we don't agree it's best to live and let live. I'm glad for him that he has such an important radio show.
