I had dropped off a Hank Aaron 715th HR ticket to the PSA booth at the Chicago Sun-Times show back on March 21st for grading and authenticating. First off, they don't authenticate tickets on-site, so I had to pay an extra $16.00(WOW!!!) for shipping it back to me. I sent them an email back on May 14th to find out the status of my ticket since their website shows "there are no orders". I got an email back the next day from Kristie Gallant of customer service telling me that "it's ONLY been 35 business days and tickets take a FULL 45 business days to process. Why does it take a FULL 45 business days? I understand that they have many things to authenticate, but she makes it sound like it goes through a 45 day authentication process(no sooner-no later). What can it take to authenticate a ticket? A few hours? I'm still waiting for my ticket. They can grade cards on-site the same day you submit them, but tickets take 45 business days. Don't understand.

45 days seems a little crazy. I don't understand why they can't offer a faster service like they do for a card. The $16 shipping seems pretty high as well.

Yes, the $16.00 shipping fee is a bit much for sure especially when their on site, and opt not to bring some of the other encapsulated machines. It just gives me the impression that my ticket sits on their self for 44 days and then someone looks at it at the last minute and sends it out on the 45th day(no sooner-no later). I'm planning on selling the ticket eventually, so hopefully the wait and cost is worth it.

$16.00 shipping. just another way for them to make a buck.
