Anybody else win anything?

Nope. I went 0-fer. I was back and forth last night on going after the Plow's Candy PSA 8...in the end showed some restraint.

Doug:

Nice pick-up on the Mack and in pretty nice condition too. He's one of the tougher HOF'ers in the Old Judge series.

Congrats Doug! Some tough OJ HOFers you've picked up in the last 2 weeks.

I was blown away by what this card went for. I had made a target
price for it and turns out my number was a joke. High end T206 cards
seem to do great with Goodwin.
Swung and missed on a couple Walter Johnson cards but at least I
was in the ballpark on those.

Jason, stellar deal on that Cobb. Looks more like a 5 to me. Congrats.

This was the only card I was serious about last night and had a much higher maximum bid laid in so it was nice to know that I won the card without any late night shennanigans. :D
It will be intresting to see this one in person when it arrives. I have an SGC 40Lobert with a pale yellow (gold) background but this one looks like it could be the one of a kind orange backgrounds. I have four or five of the "orangies", hope this will be another...

The Lobert looks halfway between orange and gold. Maybe you've discovered a new color.

Bob better hope he hasn't. That would be 8 colors plus the m131s for the master set.

Only way I'll ever afford this one.

Gratefuldog3 - great Ruth photo - but you're aware that that's not Hooper and Henriksen in the photo?

Mark, That has been pointed out to me. Thank you for the info. All that matters to me is the image of Ruth. I love it!

Scott-
I knew you'd pull the trigger. One of a kind card! Goes nicely with the BS you have squirreled away. Nice pick up!

Nice pick-up on the Ruth postcard. I would have "bid to win" if it was not missing a piece of the postcard.

I'm pretty sure I was the conisignor of that E94, and I never had any thoughts that it was an orange variation...just gold.
