The piece sells for up to $30, but I believe it to be undervalued. The same photo image was used in other trading cards and similar genres as well for Clark.

The Dups sold from 50 to 100 based on condition and timing.

I also remember a postcard from the newspaper announcing the issue along with the date of the insert being included. I did not bid on that lot but printed it out and will try to find it.

Take care,

Mike

It looks like the same picture that is on the 1938 Diamond Matchcover - I have it on my website at http://pages.prodigy.net/revmoran/images/fbmb3.htm

I think it's one of the better looking matchcovers, along with the Glenn Presnell. Handsome group of fellows!

This is useful in clarifying the date of issue.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=260268868731&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=016
