After winning it, his grandson told me he showed the listing to the 80-something Marshall and Marshall said said he'd never seen the photo before, so his grandson won it for him. The 1940s photo was for Marshall Goldberg Day in Chicago and showed him in cowboy suit, gun in one hand and football in the other.
