Posted By: Chuck
I have a handful of team emblems that look like they could be from this issue. I've seen the insert card offered on eBay but the Yankees version depicted on it does not match mine.

Any idea what I might have if they aren't from 1958? I have a Milwaukee Braves so that helps nail down the possible dates. I should be able to post a scan later.

I wouldn't think they are very rare but I haven't run accross any others or been able to find anything on the internet.

Posted By: Dave Hornish
There were felt emblems issued in 1956 and 1958. The 58 version has the Bazooka and Blony names featured on the obverse and states My Favorite Team, the 56's do not have such markings. I had scans of both but can't find them at the moment. My article in Old Cardboard #13 has a brief overview of both plus the related 59 pennants. They are not terribly difficult to find but a lot of people don't know what they are and do not reference Bazooka or Topps when they are listed.

Posted By: Bob Lemke
I think the Cubs and Yankees patches are 1955(?) Post Cereal. The Standard Catalog used to carry a listing. There was a cereal box or box-back sold in one of the big auction a couple of years ago with Ted Williams art and the patches shown.

Posted By: Dave Hornish
Those do not look like Bazooka patches. Not sure what they are (and why 15 teams and not 16?).

Posted By: Chuck
... has the most votes. I tried googling various combinations of cereal/emblems/premiums but couldn't find anything.

Incidently, these are available for trade if anyone is interested. The two upside down are Cleveland Indans and Cincinatti RedLegs.

I also have a few others that aren't dups but I doubt I'll work on a set so my Tigers version will probably suffice as a type.

Thanks again guys,

Chuck
http://home.comcast.net/~chuckparis/
