Posted By: Chris Counts
My favorite "unloved" sets include the very plentiful 1964 Topps Supers, 1967-68 Topps posters, the square-cornered and blank-backed versions of the 1970-71 Topps Supers and, last but not least, Exhibits ...

Posted By: Anthony
A pair of '58 sets get passed over pretty often- Bell Brands and Hires Test issues.
Both have some very tough cards, the short prints in the Bells and any test issue with the tab still intact.
Posted By: Jerry
1960 Leaf set doesn't get much love, I guess because there B&W. Speaking of B&W, I think Bowman has a 53 or 54 B&W set that is not to popular. I remember buying 60 Leaf card packs, they had a catseye marble in the pack instead of gum.

Posted By: Dan Bretta
Really? The cards came packed with a marble? Does anyone have a picture of an unopened Leaf pack?

Posted By: Dan Bretta
I would think that being packed with a marble would crease the cards or indent them in some way. How many packs were in a box? Is this set tough to put together in PSA 8+?

Posted By: Jerry
No idea about condition problems or how many packs to the box. It's been 47 yrs since I bought a pack, i just remeber them coming with a marble.m I think there was a semi rare card in the set, Maybe Mudcat Grant. Maybe a current collector can enlight us on this set.

Posted By: Jerry
Thanks Anthony
Funny the pack says Marbles (Plural), now I'm wondering if they came with 1 marble or 2.

Yeah Barry, Us old geezers grew up in a great era, much simpler times. Great sports idols , not to mention the Music. Kids now days don't have a clue what they missed.

Another odd thing I remember getting in packs was baseball signature Tattoos. I remember not washing my hand for a couple days because I had a Mantle tatoo on it.

Posted By: Anonymous
I'd love to collect sheets but can't display them. I do have some nice uncut strips of 2, 3, 4 cards that I'll have to scan and post someday. I'm hoping to collect examples of three cards strips of all Topps sets from 52 thru 75 eventually. No wrappers to speak of but on the radar too. Both will wait until I get my T206 HOF'ers under control.
